This is the official Court website for the settlements in Brookshire Brothers, Ltd., et al. v. Chiquita Brands International, Inc., et al.  Settlements have been approved in this class action lawsuit about whether Chiquita Brands International, Inc. and Chiquita Fresh North America LLC; Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. and Del Monte Fresh Produce Company; and Dole Food Company, Inc. and Dole Fresh Fruit Company conspired to coordinate output and fix the price of bananas.  The Defendants deny all claims of wrongdoing in this case.  The settlements don't mean that any law was broken.  Eligible Class members can submit a claim form for a payment from the settlements.
